The Curly Hill Campsite & Centre provides hostel accommodation plus separate camping facilities for use by members and affiliates of the Scout & Guide Movements plus other youth organisations, community groups, charities and schools. It is owned by the Scout District and managed on its behalf by a team of volunteer wardens.
Overnight bookings are taken for either the Hostel or for the Campsite. The Campsite facilities are separate from the main building. For the Hostel we operate a policy of single occupancy so visitors have exclusive use of the main building for their stay. Alternatively a booking can be made for exclusive use of both the Hostel and Campsite. Day/evening bookings on weekdays are also available.
" Fantastic indoor facilities for groups of up to 40. Kitchen is well kitted out, plenty of bunk rooms, wet boot area. Outside camping in beautiful surroundings with plenty of cooking areas and good drainage. "
John KThe site is 0.8 miles from Ilkley Town Centre, which is on the main A65 trunk road north west of Leeds. There is direct vehicular access and parking for cars, light vans and minibuses. Larger vehicles would need to park at the end of the drive (50m). Ilkley has regular train services to both Leeds and Bradford where connections to the national rail network are only 30 minutes away.
